Organisations are most effective when the values of the
key stakeholders, customers, owners, suppliers, managers (corporate),
employees and the community are aligned. Misalignment of values leads
to conflict and low productivity. Most organisations today are aware
of this and try to achieve alignment through surveys aimed at
measuring stakeholders ‘satisfaction’ with the organisation. The
problem with this is that, in designing the survey, the organisations
decides what is important to the stakeholder group being surveyed and
respondents provide feedback against these criteria. The ‘values’
method takes a different approach. It starts by asking the target
group what it values in its relationship with the organisations and
uses this information to align the behaviour of the organisation with
the values of its key stakeholders.
We offer values alignment programmes in the following areas:-
- Corporate values – The alignment of management and employee
values
- Customer values
- Employee values
- Supplier values
- Shareholder values
- Community values
