for designing training interventions:-

- clarify the nature of the problem,
agree what part training can play in improving
matters and specify how we will know when we have
been successful.
- Tailor the design of our courses to meet the
clients needs using an 'output' based approach
focusing on the results expected.
- Link the training back into the work place by
using Action Learning based projects.
